I’m a London-based food and travel writer with more than 10 years of journalism experience.
I wrote and edited for Bloomberg News in Buenos Aires, London and São Paulo from 2008 to 2012, before moving into consumer journalism. I am now Deputy Editor of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and The World’s 50 Best Bars, where I oversee digital, video and live content.
I am a confident public speaker and have presented and moderated #50BestTalks events in Bangkok, Bogotá, Macau, Mexico City, and the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian. My other public speaking work includes presenting at Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, the PPA’s Independent Publisher Conference in London and the Young Adult Literature Convention at Comic Con in London.
In 2018 I graduated from the Faber Academy’s Writing a Novel course in Richard Skinner’s class and I am working on my first novel, Single Bald Female.
I speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese and am a qualified translator specialising in Brazilian Portuguese and business translation.
